The upgrades and new implementations, including Coles' online shopping option, 'Click and Collect', are set to provide customers with convenience and quality, as well as fresh meal solutions and an enhanced shopping experience.
Dubbo Coles Store Manager Priscilla Brien-Tetrie said the upgrades to the store had been a long time coming, with convenience and improving the customer experience at the heart of the renovation.
Next Wednesday the store will also launch Click and Collect which allows its customers to shop from the stores website online before picking their items up from the store.
Renovations include a shiny new open-plan bakery, deli, a wider layout for the fresh food areas and more space to cater for more than 1000 new items of stock now sold at the store.
"Dubbo is a growing community, and we've considered the needs of our customers as part of the renovation," Ms Brien- Tetrie said.
"We're excited for them to embrace our new bakery and deli, but also enjoy thousands of new products that we've introduced across the store."
To celebrate the completion of the refurbishment, the team held a special ceremony featuring speeches and the cutting of a cake and ribbon on Wednesday morning to welcome Dubbo shoppers through the doors officially.
Cutting the ribbon was the store's longest-serving team members, Debbie Dawson who has been serving the Dubbo community at Coles for more than 40 years, and Customer Service Manager Sharon Cusack, who celebrates more than 35 years of service at the store.
"I have an amazing team, I'm so thankful for them and to have had them during this long and stressful period of renovating our store," Ms Brien-Tetrie said.
"I also wanted to say a huge thank you to our customers for being so supportive while we have been under refurbishment, and to our construction teams for the incredible work they've done."
Coles Dubbo will raise funds and accept donations through their checkouts for the Country Women's Association to assist those in the community affected by drought.
