Police believe an ongoing feud led to the alleged assaults of a 24-year-old woman and 20-year-old man at their Dubbo homes on the weekend.

After the pair engaged in a war of words at a local pub on Saturday night, the man and a group of other people allegedly assaulted the woman at her Gasnier Place home.
When police arrived at the woman's home all persons had fled the scene.
About 5.25am Sunday, several people believed to be associated with the woman went to the 20-year-old man's home on Birch Avenue.
The man was allegedly assaulted and a number of windows were smashed.
Police attended and conducted crime scene examinations. Mobiles phones and closed circuit television (CCTV) footage were among exhibits seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
