The 415 hectare blaze ignited in bushland on Tuesday morning and at 7.45am on Friday was still listed as 'being controlled'.

Meanwhile, NSW Rural Fire Service Orana team crews issued a thank you on social media to the different agencies that have been involved in fighting the fire.
"A huge effort from NP [National Parks and Wildlife Service] and RFS crews, Dubbo Regional Council staff as well as heavy plant and aviation contractors to pull up this fire in the Goonoo NP," the post read.
The post also stated that crews had been working hard on Thursday to 'black out' the fire before predicted poor weather on Friday.
Well above average temperatures are predicted on Friday with Dubbo forecast to reach a top of 35 degrees, which is 10 degrees above the long term maximum for October of 25.1.
