"It's a great day here - allowing people here with a disability a chance to enjoy the day and have some fun running, throwing, whatever they might want to do," Hausia said.
The event was well attended, with representatives from a number of other services showing up at Barden Park for the latest iteration of the multiple event carnival.

"It's good to see the other providers here as well," Hausia said.
"We've got athletes from Wellington, some coming from as far as Warren, Narromine, Trangie, we've got some coming down the Castlereagh highway as well."
"It's just a good meet and greet, a lot of them probably wouldn't have met each other if it wasn't for one of these events that lets them mingle with each other, but also have fun at the same time."
Awards and medals were on hand for the competitors who performed best across the day's events, which covered the entire gamut of athletics.
"We've got probably about ten events, it's a good day, we've held it on Saturdays and Sundays and it's worked and then didn't work, but today seems to have worked really well, it's been a good turnout," Hausia said.
"Next year we'll look at doing the all sports, or the all games, so we'll mix it in with league tag, soccer and we'll bring it back to here and have the athletics going on at the same time, that's something we're really looking forward to."
Chris Wilson, one of the competitors from Breakthru, said that the community encouragement on the day was a powerful source of motivation.
"I'm loving it, I wish it were a bit cooler, but I've really loved doing the running and I'm waiting for a turn at the javelin, just any sort of physical activity, really, it's great," Wilson said.
"Honestly, everyone being here is so motivating and just having the whole crowd here and getting to have fun is so good."
