Byrne made 113 as Lemons posted 6/214 at Bob Dowling 3 and while Newtown Gold showed fight in the chase they finished at 185.
Sanu Joy's 40 and 2/28 from eight overs also boosted the Lemons while Brad Freeth made 42 for the defeated Tigers.
Elsewhere in the third grade competition, Ben Madigan's five wickets led the Newtown Demons past RSL-Colts Paramount.
Madigan took 5/35 from eight overs as Paramount was knocked over for 147. Angus Lennon and Bevan Charlton-White then each made 43 in the successful chase.

An unbeaten half century from Macquarie youngster Cody Green helped the Blues beat South Dubbo Limes.
Andrew McKittrick made 51 as Limes posted 159 but then Green's 53 not out secured a five-wicket win. Joe Kempston took 3/31 for the Limes.
Craig Pettit bagged a hat-trick in a stunning haul of 4/7 from just nine balls in Newtown Black's huge win over RSL-Colts United.
Pettit destroyed the tail as United was knocked over for 72 and the Tigers reached the target for the loss of just one wicket.
The final match of the round saw James Rootes (55) and Jai Reeves (4/19) lead Rugby to a 45-run win over RSL-Colts Coolbaggie.
In the RSL-Pinnington Cup second grade competition, a strong team effort saw South Dubbo down a Harry Brennan-inspired Macquarie.
Brennan took 2/17 on Saturday after making 102 on day one but it wasn't enough as Souths won by four wickets.
Mick Doughan (71) top-scored in the chase.
Rugby overcame a couple of late wobbles to down CYMS at Lady Cutler 4.
Nick Karydis (29) fired early before captain Zach Murphy (37 not out) guided his under strength side to the target of 129.
Preston Beacuchamp's day one century set-up Colts' win over Newtown.
Beauchamp made 113 of 239 last week and then Tyson Deebank took 3/27 from eight as Newtown were knocked over for 128.
