Dubbo's petrol prices were significantly lower on Thursday with the United Petroleum on Cobra Street reporting 147.8 cents per litre of E10. There were five other stations in town with 147.9 cents per litre for E10, including both BPs, the Coles Express on Cobra Street and Whylandra Street and the United Petroleum on Cobra Street.

NRMA Spokesperson Rebecca Page said they're pleased to see the lower prices in the Central West.
"If you're leaving town fill up, especially if you're heading towards Sydney. If you have a choice fill up at Bathurst, it was as low as 135.9 cents today," she said.
If you have the choice, Mrs Page recommends looking at independent prices.
"Independent traders tend to keep prices lower than larger companies, especially than a listed company. The prices tend to be closer to a wholesale price," she said.
Although a handy piece of advice, Mrs Page said the best way to check is to download the NRMA app.
"It's live data, no reason to fill up and go around the corner and see lower prices," she said.
