Now under construction, the estimated $1.6 million development on the corner of Darling and Cobra streets is likely to create seven new jobs.
The first burgers are expected to be flipped at the store in February, the Daily Liberal understands.
Hungry Jack's current store on the corner of Victoria Street and the Newell Highway will close when the new store opens.
Dubbo Regional Council has given Hungry Jack's the go-ahead to introduce a 24/7 drive-through service at the new store on a trial basis for 12 months.
The high rate of poor health in the district in which the proposed development is located is likely to result in higher levels of community concern that the development will contribute to negative health impacts associated with takeaway food outlets.

After the trial, Hungry Jack's will need to get council approval if it wants to make the 24/7 drive-through a permanent part of the business.
Access to a car park at the rear of the new store will be physically restricted between 10pm and 7am, after Darling Street residents raised noise concerns.
According to a social impact statement prepared by Felicity Richards of Elton Consulting and presented to council, there would be an increased risk of pedestrian and vehicle accidents at the new Hungry Jack's site because of the 24/7 drive-through.
"The high rate of poor health in the district in which the proposed development is located is likely to result in higher levels of community concern that the development will contribute to negative health impacts associated with takeaway food outlets," the statement read.
Because the existing Hungry Jack's store is closing "there is no net increase in fast food-style restaurants in Dubbo", the statement notes.
After the new 24/7 Hungry Jack's opens, a third McDonald's store is due to open in East Dubbo.
The rise in fast-food options comes after Oliver's Real Food store in West Dubbo permanently shut its doors earlier this year, about seven months after first opening.
Oliver's Real Food did not respond to a request for comment and Hungry Jack's was unable to comment.
