A man and woman have been charged with multiple offences after a pursuit and foot chase through a shopping centre in Dubbo.

About 7.35am on Tuesday, Orana Mid Western Police District officers were patrolling Erskine Street. They saw a Land Rover Freelander which checks revealed was reported stolen.
A pursuit was initiated when the Land Rover allegedly failed to stop when directed, which continued through the streets of Dubbo. It was terminated due to safety concerns near Wheelers Lane.
Shortly after, patrolling police located the vehicle in the rear car park of a shopping centre on Windsor Parade, and saw a man and woman run into the shopping centre.

Police chased the pair through the shopping centre, with a security officer and member of the public attempting to stop the man.
The 25-year-old woman and 18-year-old man were arrested by police in the car park of the shopping centre and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
A woman was charged with aggravated break and enter, steal motor vehicle, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner (x2), owner not disclose identity of driver/passenger (x3), and passenger not disclose driver's/other passenger's identity.
The man was charged with police pursuit - not stop - drive recklessly (2nd offence), and drive while licence cancelled.
Police will allege in court that the Land Rover was stolen from a property on the Castlereagh Highway near Lithgow on Monday, August 26.
The pair were refused bail and appeared at Dubbo Local Court on Tuesday, August 27 to reappear at the same court on Monday, October 14.
