There was plenty happening in Dubbo at the weekend, from athletics to birthday parties.
On Saturday was Dubbo Regional Council's annual Science and Sustainability Expo. The event included 30 exhibitor displays, workshops and activities for the kids. You could even turn an old shirt into a bag.
A surprise birthday party was also held for Hilda Allison. Ms Allison turned 70, surrounded by her loved ones.

Meanwhile, the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre was transformed into ancient China for Mulan Jr. More than 100 musical theatre students from the Drama Club Dubbo took part in the production.
On Sunday the Dubbo Bridge Club celebrated their 50th anniversary. Current and former members met at Lazy River Estate to mark the occasion, with people coming from as far as Brisbane to attend.
It was also the day of the Dubbo Stampede. Hundreds of people registered for the annual running event at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
