The sizable underdog wasn't in much of a hurry once the race got underway either, moving from the back of the pack to a comfortable middle position and holding there as the favourite Gemma Rue's Gettn Gospel ($1.30) battled for the lead with Glenn Wilmot's I Wanna Dance ($5.50)

It wasn't until the second to last corner that Trioli made her move, outpacing Jason Gaffney's Yarraman Franco ($26) and chasing down Gettn Gospel and I Wanna Dance on the final corner.
Trioli took the lead on the final stretch, darting around the two leaders on the outside and getting a margin of 2.3m ahead of Rue's Gettn Gospel just in time and securing a long-shot first place finish.
Rue's Gettn Gospel finished in second place, while Gaffney's Yarraman Franco was able to out-pace Wilmot's I Wanna Dance and secure third.
The win is Trioli's first, with only one start previous.
The win wasn't the only success for the underdogs on Sunday, with Paul Bonham's Shes The Other One ($61) and Nathan Turnbull's Billysbredone ($21) both beating the bookie's odds.
Turnbull's Gelding beat out the highly touted and heavily favourited Major Hall from Nathan Hurst's stable.
"I actually hadn't thought he'd get the win, so it was a very nice surprise," Turnbull said.
"I certainly didn't really think he'd have it in him to beat that kind of a favourite either."
Hurst's mare worked it's way to the front and led for most of the contest, before driver Blake Micallef was able to secure equal footing with Billysbredone late in the race and thunder home on the final stretch.
"I didn't think we could beat the favourite because it drew so good and was in such a good position, but he got a nice sit up close later on and he was able to reel him in."
"He's worked really well, when I was driving us up to the stable, I thought he had more of a chance in those sort of conditions and in that kind of a run."
Billysbredone finished ahead by a 5.98m margin and secured his second win of the season after success earlier in the year in Canberra.
Turnbull isn't certain what the future holds for Billysbredone, but is confident that a win is even more likely at the gelding's next appearance in Bathurst.
"He's actually in again on Wednesday night in Bathurst, he's got another good chance in that race if he goes good again on Sunday," Turnbull said.
"Then, after that, we'll probably be looking at putting him on the market once I travel to America."
