It's all about the Nyngan Tigers at the moment.
After beating Wellington two rounds ago, the Tigers defeated the minor premiers on Sunday to really make their presence felt.
It's had an impact on our rankings, too.
1. Nyngan Tigers (last week: 3)
This can't be a shock, really. The Tigers have beaten the competition's top two sides in the past three rounds and have stamped themselves as the form side of Group 11.
There were few weaknesses shown during the win over CYMS. Fitness, as always, remains a question but the Tigers manage it. They're masters of slowing the game down late in the contest and conserve their energy to be the powerful force in attack and defence that they'e become.
The forward pack doesn't let anyone down, Josh and Jai Merritt are firing, Darryl Cubby continues to chime in at the perfect time, and Justin Carney won't stop causing havoc out wide. There's a lot to like about the Tigers.
2. Wellington Cowboys (last week: 1)
A tough finals-like win for the Cowboys on Sunday. It wasn't absolutely pretty but it showed the side can dig deep and fight back when they're down.
After pushing Nyngan the whole way when playing with a man less for roughly an hour, the Cowboys rallied and scored a match-winning try inside the final 10 minutes on Sunday despite having a player in the bin late on.
The Cowboys have been really pushed in these last few rounds but, for the most part, they keep coming up with the answers. They're getting the kind of challenges needed this time of year. Justin Toomey-White couldn't have asked for a better lead-in to the finals.
3. Dubbo CYMS (last week: 2)
Two rounds in a row CYMS have slipped down these rankings but don't worry too much. This side isn't going anywhere yet.
After failing to totally convince in gutsy wins over Forbes and Parkes, the Fishies were handed a defeat which did feel like it had been coming on Sunday.
Captain-coach Jarryn Powyer said his side was out-enthused and that was clear to see against a hugely motivated Nyngan side. It's a big test for rookie mentor in the coming weeks but there's not many things better than a loss to get you fired and up and focused before finals. It could prove to be the loss CYMS needed.
4. Parkes Spacemen (last week: 4)
The Spacemen are still hanging around. They're now confirmed finalists and showed some really promising signs in Sunday's convincing win over Macquarie.
It was a massive games for both clubs with fifth spot on the line, but the Spacemen were never really troubled in a performance that is sure to build confidence.
The loss of Joey Dwyer, likely for the season, is an almighty blow. But with Chad Porter again delivering a performance full of class on Sunday and Sam Dwyer showing he's getting back to his best, this side is far from a pushover.
5. Forbes Magpies (last week: 5)
A classic Forbes performance on Sunday. The Magpies got themselves in front and in a winning position at Wellington but were forced to leave with nothing to show for the effort.
The Magpies have still got all the potential and plenty of talent in their lineup but it still hasn't just quite clicked for them in a stop-start season.
Goal-kicking was an issue on Sunday and with matches expected to be so close in the coming weeks the defending premiers need to find a way to take that next step. You'd never bet against a Forbes side making a run from fourth or fifth, but the side just seems a little off the top three at this stage.

6. Macquarie Raiders (last week: 6)
The Raiders have never really been in the top five this season and on Sunday their hopes of breaking into those finals spots were ended.
In what has been an inconsistent campaign the Raiders, without injured captain-coach Wes Middleton, were not at the required level and were handed a heavy defeat at Parkes.
Middleton said he wanted to win the title in his first year in charge, and now he won't even feature in the finals. The battle for the top five was always going to be a fierce one but there has to be some real disappointment in the Raiders camp heading into the final round.
7. Narromine Jets (last week: 7)
A week off for the Jets after Westside were removed from the competition.
The Jets were thumped the week before and the final round against Wellington will be an almighty challenge. However, the Jets need to produce a promising showing in order to head into the off-season in a positive space.
