Saturday's New Holland Agriculture Cup major semi-final pits CSU Bathurst and the Narromine Gorillas against one another in a battle of two very different sides with two contrasting styles, but both have the same goal - earning the right to host this year's decider.
The two sides have been on a major semi-final collision course for almost a month now and that's done nothing but build the anticipation leading in, their penultimate round showdown did the same considering Narromine won with a last-ditch penalty goal.
While the Gorillas have been a force in Central West Rugby Union's lower tiers since they dropped down from the Blowes Clothing Cup, the students' 2019 premiership bid has been one in the making for the past two years.

They've steadily improved over that period to the point they're now capable of knocking the powerhouse Gorillas off, as they proved at University Oval back in round four.
Granted, the major semi-final is at Cale Oval and the only time the students visited fortress Narromine they were handed a 50-10 hammering.
"Narromine are a group of guys who have been playing footy for years and years. It's always a tough battle, especially at the set piece," CSU flanker Aidan Kennelly said.
"If we can match them in the forwards and win the majority of our set pieces then that will go a long way towards getting us into the grand final.
"We've got some great players out wide in this team. If we can do our jobs in the forwards then you've got guys like Nick Greenberg, Harry Hunt, Regan Hughes and Jack Keppel waiting for the ball.
"The season's been pretty surreal. This is where we expected to be but still making it here is another whole thing. We've got a lot of belief in our team, especially having the same players to build around over the past two years. That's pretty much unheard of for a uni team to have that."
A big motivator for CSU this weekend comes from the friendly league versus union rivalry at the university.
With the Mungoes already locking up New Era Cup grand final hosting rights there's a drive for CSU to achieve the same in the rugby sphere.
"At [Tuesday] night's training everyone was really getting around one another," Kennelly said.
"The league team have already gone into the grand final and I think that's creating a really special buzz around the uni at the moment."
Saturday's major semi-final kicks off at 3.15pm at Cale Oval, while Mudgee hosts Blayney in Sunday's minor semi-final at Jubilee Oval, also from 3.15pm.
