The Dubbo businessman and long-time horse owner has had plenty of success in recent years on the big stage and is well-positioned to enjoy more feature success in the coming weeks and months.
Walker is a part-owner of Humidor, who ran second and third to Winx in the two most recent Cox Plates, and is hopeful that gelding can return from injury in time for this year's event.
Humidor may not be his only contender in that famed Group 1 in October.

Walker also has shares in Danceteria, the Australian Bloodstock-syndicated gelding who has firmed into a $10 chance for the $5 million event after an eye-catching Group 1 win in Germany earlier this week.
Walker and Australian Bloodstock stated earlier in the week a crack at the Cox Plate is no sure thing despite the victory, with options in Europe and the United States also available.
However, on Tuesday night Danceteria was issued with an official invite to the Cox Plate, making a trip to Australia likely for the British star.
The win in the Grosser Dallmayr-Preis at Munich isn't the only impressive mark on Danceteria's resume, as he had previously run fourth to superstar Enable earlier in the year.
Walker was already one of the owners of Danceteria before that race.
Danceteria is from Redoute's Choice and is the first European group winner to come from the champion sire.
His class showed in the win at Munich, surging late to seal victory for trainer David Menuisier.
He could now feature in Cox Plate, possibly alongside Humidor.
Humidor, a horse Walker has always been especially fond of, sustained severe ligament injury when running third in last year's Cox Plate but had a successful jump-out in recent weeks after many thought his career would be over.
Walker stated that is not the case and "touch wood" he'll be back to earn a start in this year's Cox Plate, one which won't feature the legendary mare Winx after her retirement.
Dubbo's Walker has also recently taken share in another Australian Bloodstock-syndicated horse, Chief Ironside.
He's likely to target sprint features during spring.
