Nathan Lindsay Shone was pulled over by police for a random drug test in Nyngan on the afternoon of November 23.
The test produced a positive result and police asked the Nyngan resident if there were any weapons or drugs in the car he was driving.
A passenger told police there was a bong under a seat and police searched the car.

A glass pipe, three resealable bags, cotton buds and a piece of drinking straw were found concealed in a reading glasses case inside the car.
Tests revealed .93 grams of a substance found inside one of the bags was the drug ice.
In Dubbo Local Court last week Shone pleaded guilty to driving while there was an illicit drug present in his blood.
Court documents revealed he was convicted of the same offence in May 2018.
Magistrate Gary Wilson disqualified Shone from driving for six months and issued a $500 fine.
