A 19-year-old man accused of breaking into a Dubbo home, trying to stab a man, threatening a woman with a knife, stealing four vehicles and leading police on multiple pursuits was denied bail in court on Friday.

Police allege the man breached an apprehended domestic violence order (ADVO) when he sent a series of abusive messages to a woman about 3pm Wednesday.
The man was allegedly seen in Gulgong that night when he ran from police and stole a Landcruiser.
About 12.10am Thursday police engaged in a pursuit with the man when the saw him traveling on the Golden Highway east of Dubbo.
Safety concerns led police to terminate the pursuit.
A few hours later at 2.30am police allege the man broke into a Fitzroy Street home in Dubbo and tried to steal a Hyundai Accent.
The man was confronted by a woman who engaged in a struggle with him.
He allegedly pulled a knife on the woman and tried to stab another man who confronted him.

The man allegedly fled the scene in the Hyundai and about 3.25am police engaged in a second pursuit with the man.
It was terminated again due to safety concerns.
A short time later police allege the man stole a third vehicle.
At about 2.10pm Thursday police tried to locate the man at a Godwins Lane address in Dubbo but he fled again.
Police allege the man then stole a fourth vehicle from Mogriguy Road.
That vehicle was involved in another pursuit with police that was terminated again.
About 7pm on Thursday multiple police arrested the man at a Fitzroy Street address in Dubbo.
He was charged with a string of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated break and enter, larcency, possessing a prohibited drug and driving without a licence.
The man did not enter pleas or apply for bail when he appeared before Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
He is now behind bars and his case returns to court on August 14.
