The libraries holiday theme was 'fantasy', and participants were able to create either a unicorn or dragon face mask, decorating them however they liked while interacting with other children and loved ones.
The Libraries Children and Young people's Officer Michaela Owen said residents, who haven't been to the library for a while, should come down for a visit.
"You will be surprised, we have a lot more now than just books," Ms Own said.
Ms Owen said the workshop was an opportunity for residents to bond with their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews for screen-free activities.
"We've had more than one hundred children come in within just the first two hours; It's great to see the support," Ms Owen said.
The library encourages residents who are yet to visit the library to come in.
"It's always nice to see new faces," Ms Own said.
The library runs multiple workshops during school holidays.
