A man who police said had been in an on again, off again relationship with Lance for the past 13 years was drinking out the front of a house.
According to court documents Lance went to the property and started yelling at the man. He went inside to get away from her but she followed him and continued to yell.
The man then walked to the police station and Lance followed him.
When they arrived inside the police station Lance yelled at the man and pushed him around, police said.
The man tried to move away from her but Lance clenched her right first and punched him in the nose.
"This punch caught the victim by surprise and the force threw his head backwards and his nose began bleeding and swelling immediately," police said in court documents.
When Lance came into the police station she had a "small amount" of blood on her lip which she claimed was there because the man allegedly assaulted her, police said.
"It is more likely as a result of the victim defending himself," police said.
Magistrate Gary Wilson found Lance guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
She was placed on a community corrections order for 12 months and ordered to be of good behaviour.
