The Demons are sitting smack-bang right at the centre of the Central West AFL 2019 Season ladder approaching the clash against the Cowra Blues this Saturday, and despite the hosts sitting well above the guests, the Demons won't be taking them lightly.
The Demons want the trip to South Dubbo Oval to be one no team relishes, and despite the Cowra Blues holding the last place on the ladder, the Demons aim to put in a full four quarter effort.
The hosts are preparing to get the job done during the game according to Midfield stalwart Mick Daly.
"The approach of going all-in can look a bit try-hard, for lack of better words, but we came into the season wanting to put the hard work into every game," Daly said.
2019 has been a positive season in the sense of new successes for the Demons, and although they haven't tasted consecutive victories this year, they have been a much more competitive side to go up against, showing grit and determination on the field especially when playing against some of the stronger teams.
Continuing the hard work, Daly said the Demons would aim for victory.
"We wanted to set the expectation of being hard working not only on the field but off it in terms of discipline and things like," he said, "and the Blues match will be no exception."
