Now in its eighth season, the East Coast MX Series has built a reputation as one of the premier motocross championships on the eastern seaboard, with riders travelling from all over New South Wales, as well as Queensland, Victoria and the ACT, to compete across 16 race divisions from the 7-9 years 50cc class up to the MX1 Pro class.
Keen to prove themselves on their home track against the visiting racers, our local riders didn't let us down in an action packed weekend of racing.
Competing in his last practice race before heading over to Italy for the World Junior Motocross Championships in July, 15-year-old Blake Fox dominated the 15 years 125cc and 250cc classes, comfortably winning all six of his races.
Looking forward to racing overseas, Fox said he was thankful for the support.
"I had a great weekend racing the East Coast Series and I'm now looking forward to heading over to Italy for the World Championships. I can't thank everyone enough for supporting me."

Racing in the 7-9 years 50cc class, eight-year-old Tyler Eade proved too strong for the visiting riders, cruising to victory in all three of his races on his Husqvarna TC50 machine.
"I felt good on my home track and wanted to show the city kids how the country kids can ride," commented the determined youngster.
Also racing in the 7-9 years 50cc class was Narromine's Will Cale who rode well against the visitors to pick up fourth place on the podium.
Promoter of the East Coast MX Series, Michel Constantinou, said he was happy with the weekend.
"It was a great weekend of racing and I'm pleased to see some of the local riders like Tyler Eade and Blake Fox do so well," he said.
"We love hosting the East Coast MX Series in Dubbo. Everyone from the club is so helpful and accommodating, it's a pleasure to run the event here."
The next round takes place Sunday 21 July.
