The patient safety coordinator took out the Studer Group Australasia Collaborative Leader of the Year Award at the the WNSWLHD Living Quality and Safety Awards gala dinner at Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre on Thursday night.
The WNSWLHD calls Ms Tuipulotu a dedicated member of the hospital's executive team, who works tirelessly to improve the quality and safety of patient care.
"Meg builds capability and capacity through her collaborative leadership style, taking the time to educate and mentor clinicians and managers, assisting staff to develop improvement strategies and role modelling the core values of the WNSWLHD," it says.

Dubbo Hospital's Work Health and Safety Team Engagement project won the Spotless 'A Safe and Healthy Workplace' Award.
The project's outcomes include improved staff morale and engagement in workplace safety, and reduced injuries.
In 2019 the health district received more than 100 entries across 10 project categories, one team category and three individual categories of the awards.
Finalists presented their projects to peers at a symposium held before the gala dinner.
WNSWLHD chief executive Scott McLachlan said the awards showcased the work of teams in finding "new and better ways" to help keep people healthy.
