A 54-year-old man has been charged after drugs and drug paraphernalia were located during a vehicle search near Narromine.
About 6.15pm Wednesday police stopped a black Holden Commodore about 18 kilometres north of Narromine on the Mitchell Highway.
Police attached to the Central North Police District Target Action Group and the Central North Criminal Investigators searched the vehicle seizing cannabis and numerous clear resealable bags.
It is alleged that police also found a bag containing a crystal substance and two sets of scales.
The drugs, drug paraphernalia and a mobile phone were seized by police.
The man was taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and drug supply.
He was bail refused and will appear before Dubbo Local Court on Thursday.
