The chirpy and chatty health professional still likes his work and catching up with patients at Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group.
"I've got someone new to talk to every 15 minutes," 64-year-old Mr Pandya said.
Mr Pandya's path to a long career as a chiropractor began almost 60 years ago when his well-read and perfectionist grandfather suggested he give it a try.
After 40 years in the profession, Mr Pandya observes it is "pretty much still a manipulative science".
"But there is a lot of innovation on the side," he said.
"We do things like laser and acupuncture and a lot of other things we couldn't do before."

Open-heart surgery and financial security has made the chiropractor more relaxed about life and work as he approaches another milestone.
Mr Pandya says he is no longer "as much of a perfectionist" as his career adviser.
A keen cyclist who has raised $24,000 to date as a participant in the MS Sydney to Wollongong Charity Bike Ride, Mr Pandya is not thinking about retirement yet.
But he is planing to take more time out to see grandchildren in Sydney and travel with devoted wife and physiotherapist Rajal.
"The community is fantastic to us," he said. "There's every reason to be grateful."
