Trivia Night
Nevertire, June 21
Test your trivia knowledge at the Nevertire Hall from 6:30pm. There are great prizes including $500 in local vouchers for first prize, and $250 worth of vouchers for second place. There will be a prize for the best table with a theme, and a $900 Engle fridge is up for grabs in the raffle. Tickets are $5 per head for tables of 10. People can bring drinks and supper. An incredible line-up of comedians is coming to Dubbo for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow. MC for the night is Bob Franklin and he'll be joined by Dane Simpson, Daniel Connell, and more. Events starts at 8pm. Tickets available from the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
Can Assist High Tea
Nyngan, June 22
The annual Can Assist High Tea offers an afternoon of sweet treats, fashion and friends. Doors open at the Nyngan Town Hall at 1pm with the high tea served at 1:30pm. Tickets are available from the Nyngan Newsagency for $20 and must be purchased before the day. No tickets will be sold on the day.
Rotary Markets
Wellington, June 22
Held in the beautiful Cameron Park. the Wellington Rotary Markers are renowned as the 'friendliest little markets in the west'. On offer is a wonderful array of produce, hand made crafts and collectable goods. The markets are held from 8am to 1pm.
Piano recital
Dubbo June 21
Australian-American pianist Edward Neeman perform the Ballade in G minor by Chopin, contrasted by American composer Amy Beach and the Australian composer Roy Agnew. The recital will take place at the Macquarie Conservatourium from 6pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for concession and $7 for school students.

A reverent operatic performance installation at the impressive Wollemi Standing Stone Circle near Rylstone from 5pm. A small audience is invited to cross from light into dark as the sun stands still for the winter solstice at this site. The duration for this event is expected to be two hours.
