The score stood at 136 - 0 in the ladder-leader's favour after the fishies pressed the action from the opening bell, and aside from a few errors, refused Westside at every turn.
The difference in athletic prowess showed early as Viliame Turuva broke through Westside's right flank with a burst of speed and put the first four points on the scoreboard for CYMS in the game's opening minutes.
Westside struggled to put together a meaningful opposition in the game's first half, and were unable to capitalize on the CYMS' few mistakes, trailing 76 - 0 at half time.
Despite improvements in their movement and defence, Westside were unable to find a connective tissue to hold their gutsy effort together and hold CYMS back, suffering their most lopsided defeat of the season so far.
In part, CYMS were able to run up the score to such an extended lead in the second half because the Westside players refused to give in.
Westside Rabbitohs Captain Kaidyn Hopkins put up a valiant effort in the game's gruelling second half, even attempting to shoot a late game field goal, but exhaustion and the constantly pressuring CYMS drew the overextended Rabbitohs out too far and too hard to allow them any reprieve.
The CYMS fast-mobing offence was a constant thorn in the Rabbitoh's sides, particularly out on the flanks where the more experienced team were able to draw out and punish any commitment from Westside's chasing defenders.
The win over Westside's Rabbitohs allows CYMS to continue their so far unbeaten streak, with a number of players tallying up hat-tricks during their seventh straight win for the season.
CYMS' powerhouse Turuva and Harry Kemptson stood out for their offensive prowess against the outmatched Rabbitohs, with Kemptson crossing the try line for a hat-trick and then continuing to create openings and opportunities throughout the game.
The undermanned Rabbitohs started the game four players shorter than the fully packed out CYMS team and lost another early on after a tackle caused an injury.
Westside's Jordan Towney was sent off early after a dizzying clash on a low tackle that left him unable to continue, but concious and will be undergoing tests in the next few days.
The CYMS were thankfully largely injury free after the truncated, 68 minute long game, something that will serve them well as they head into next weekend's clash with ladder rivals the Wellington Cowboys, who sit just behind them in the second position.
