As the June long weekend approaches, Dubbo City Speedway club is preparing to host its last event of the 2018\2019 speedway racing season at Morris Park.

On Sunday, June 9 the day-time event will boast a full support program featuring the final round of the club championship for junior sedans, production sedans, fast fours, and fender benders.
Club President Ian BolANd said the club had received 60 nominations for the event already, with drivers coming from all over NSW and as far as Victoria and Queensland.
"Featured divisions include V8 super sedans and 650 horsepower sedans; these cars are always a crowd favourite, featuring NSW's best super drivers, and V8 Dirt Modified sportsman series," Boland said.
"Day time racing is a change from the usual night time racing.
"The long weekend allows us to race Sunday and hopefully take advantage of more favourable temperatures.
"Last years day event proved very popular with families and visitors to the region.
"DCSC is hoping to replicate the success of last years event."
Racing kicks off from 12 pm with gates opening to the public from 10.30am and burnouts commencing at 11 pm.
