Mr Willetts is one of the competitors in the Cancer Council's annual Stars of Dubbo Dance for Cancer. The event raises money for the Cancer Council to run programs in Dubbo like the Transport to Treatment.
"My dance moves are on fire. I'm going to win," he said.
"I wouldn't be doing it if I wasn't planning on winning it, there's no point. Second is the first loser.
"It's going to be a really fun night and there are some nice little surprises in my dance. Everyone is going to be going 'oh, ah, wow'."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Mr Willetts' ambition has come a long way since he first considered taking part in the fundraiser.
"My wife and one of the guys I work with conspired against me to make me do it. Then they got friends and family to get on board and absolutely peppered me," he said.
"I think I got tagged on the Stars of Dubbo page about 20 times, so I thought I may as well just do it."
It was his strong personality and great ability to gather people together for a fundraiser that gave everyone so much faith in Mr Willetts.
The star said he had a good team behind him from Stepping Out Dance Factory. He has 15 back up dancers who will be supporting him on the night.
"I'm really excited for the night and really excited to see everyone else's dances. I think towards getting there on the night the nerves will go up but I'm pretty comfortable with my dance at the moment, I'm not worried about messing it up," Mr Willetts said.
"It's just making sure I execute all my little surprises on the night and having fun with it.
"Everyone is there for a good time, to have a bit of fun and raise some money for a good cause."
Even if he did get nervous, Mr Willetts said it was too late now to back out.
Mr Willetts said he was hoping to raise more than $2500 for the Cancer Council. Businesses had been very supportive in donating items, he said. People had also been generous in giving money and raising awareness of his fundraisers.
The Stars of Dubbo Dance for Cancer will be held on May 11 at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. Tickets are sold out.
