The 2 Stroke Amateur Nationals series, which is run in conjunction with the MX Nationals Australian Motocross Championship, is a stepping stone to the professional ranks for up-and-coming junior riders in Australia.
The 2019 series, which was held over three rounds in Victoria, Queensland and the ACT, featured some of the fastest young competitors from all over the country.
Racing in the under 16s 125cc Junior Cup class, 15-year-old Fox easily won all three of his races on his KTM125 in a dominant performance which saw him claim the first place trophy in Canberra.
Heading into the final round in equal first, the win at the weekend secured Fox the overall championship crown as the best 125cc amateur junior motocross racer in the country.

The win caps a big month for Fox in which he was also selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Motocross Championships which will be held in Russia in July.
Despite his comfortable win in Canberra, Fox praised the quality of racing as he collected his championship trophy.
"We've had some really good racing each round. The boys have been riding unbelievably well and pushing me all series. It's been an amazing event," said the talented young racer.
Eleven-year-old Jack Deveson battled with his fellow competitors on his KTM65 in some exciting racing to finish with first, second and third placings in Canberra to claim second place on the podium in the under 12s 65cc Cup.
The result saw the gifted young rider wrap up second place overall in the championship. That cemented his place as one of the top 65cc riders in Australia and ensures he'll be one to watch at the Australian Junior Motocross Championships later in the year.
Speaking on the podium, the year five St Mary's school student acknowledged the competition from his rivals.
"It was tough competition but good fun racing against the boys throughout the series," he said.
Older brother Ryda Deveson finished with first, third and fourth place results in the Allpowers Retro Cup, which is for bikes older than 20 years, to claim third place on the podium in Canberra.
Racing on a restored 1993 CR250, which was made nine years before the 17-year-old was born, he also came away with third place overall in the championship.
Accepting his trophy Ryda acknowledged the support which gave him the opportunity to race in the series.
"I'd like to thank Grandeys Bike Bitz who restored and loaned me the bike. I'm glad I could repay them with a podium finish in the championship," he said.
The boys' next race at home will be on Sunday, June 2 when Dubbo Dirt Bike Club holds its next round at Morris Park Speedway.
The club will also hold a number of training days throughout May and June for riders starting out on dirt bikes or those looking to improve their skills.
The camps include OatsMX 2 Day Prep Clinic on 11-12 May, MXRD Rider Development and Endorsement Training on 18-19 May, Race Pace Motocross training on 1 June, and a special coaching course on 15 June by leading MX Nationals rider, Hayden Mellross.
