Yeo has battled two head knocks and had already missed a game heading into Friday's clash with the Gold Coast Titans.
The game north of the border was one the former Dubbo CYMS junior failed to finish, as he departed the game with a shoulder injury
The backrower and captain left the field with 15 minutes to play after reportedly hearing a crack in his left shoulder.
"It's obviously a bit of a problem," Panthers coach Ivan Cleary said after the game.
"He's had ongoing shoulder complaints, this time it's not feeling so good, so we'll cross our fingers on that one."

It wasn't just the injury for Yeo which has Cleary and Panthers fans worried.
Penrith slumped to a 30-24 loss after leading 24-18 at one point in the second half and now sits with two wins and three losses to its name.
"It wasn't great; we've got a long way to go in terms of being able to play consistently for 80 minutes either side of the ball," Cleary said.
An update on Yeo's shoulder injury is expected early in the week.
