The superchargers have been opened in the Western Plains Cultural Centre car park. An NRMA electric car charger will also be installed.
Tesla Owners Club of Australia president Mark Tipping said the chargers had opened up the whole of NSW.

Mr Tipping said while the cars could be charged from any source of electricity, the superchargers were the fastest.
"You stop between 20 minutes and 40 minutes every two hours so you take the rests you're meant to take, you go and have your cup of coffee, you normally end up talking to people because everyone wants to know about the car and then you're on your way again," he said.
In three-and-a-half years, Mr Tipping said he had travelled just shy of 200,000 kilometres across Australia and was "forever in the car".
"Now we can come out to Dubbo, enjoy the day and go home again without any concerns. And also use this as a stepping off point for Parkes or somewhere like that as well," he said.
Dubbo Regional mayor Ben Shields said there was no cost to council for the the superchargers. They were paid for and installed by Tesla.
Cr Shields said by strategically locating the superchargers at the WPCC, the Tesla owners who stopped could visit the gallery and spend some money at the coffee shop.
