Among the 45 to 50 referrals received by the Dubbo hub are some that originated from the Coonamble, Cobar, Nyngan and Wellington district, the centre reported.
Nurse unit manager Marsha McBroom said the centre was about to do its first video conference.
"The family are from about two and a half hours away so it will be really helpful for them to be able to receive that care without having to travel," Mrs McBroom said.
The centre in Darling Street is a partnership between early parenting service Tresillian and the NSW government.
Dubbo is one of five locations to benefit from $2.2 million committed in the 2018 state budget to take early parenting support closer to regional parents.
Tresillian is renowned for providing support with "sleep and settling" and other issues in early childhood.

Tresillian in Western provides individual consultations within the centre or in homes within a 30-minute drive from Dubbo as well as follow-up telephone support.
Mrs McBroom, a child and family health nurse of more than a decade and a midwife before that, is enjoying the role.
"[I] wanted to expand my skills, run groups, and just teach mums new parenting ways, and researched ways, it's all research based from Tresillian in Sydney," she said
"And to just help mums and their families for better outcomes.
"It's very rewarding."
The team is expanding this week to include child and family health nurse Chloe Inder.
The centre will hold an open day in June, with a date to be confirmed.
