He picked up the three major players for Colts, Josh Smith (0), Nathan Finaly (1), and Nathan Jones (5) all departing early to all-but assure the men in red wouldn't be winning a fifth consecutive second grade title.
Mitch Rosenbaum chipped in with 3/7 for a Rugby side which never eased off after getting on top early.
Jakke Gardiner was the only one to show any real resistance for Colts, finishing on 25 in his side's low total.
Rugby finished just short of the target at stumps on Saturday, with the win secured almost immediayely on day two.
Ryan O'Connor top-scored with 39 not out in the successful run chase.
