Yeo has been ruled out of Sunday's clash with the Melbourne Storm in the central west after suffering a second worrying head knock in as many weeks last weekend.
Yeo was taken from the field early in the first half against Newcastle and while he did return soon after and scored a crucial try in the win, the Panthers have opted to rest him this weekend.
He failed to finish the opening game of the season against Parramatta after being hit high by a swinging arm from Michael Jennings.

The Panthers club confirmed the St John's junior would see a concussion specialist this week while the NRL has asked for a 'please explain' over the issue.
"We have asked for a report from the doctor and head trainer regarding the process when Isaah was assessed after he came off and the decision-making process to allow him to return to the field," NRL head of football Graham Annesley said.
"We are not going to jump to any conclusions about that. We have to get the appropriate medical advice from the officials who assessed him. Our rules around the treatment of head injuries are very specific."
There will still be a country presence at Bathurst, with Lithgow junior Wayde Egan named on the bench again for the clash while Orange product James Maloney again to be a key figure for the Panthers at five-eighth.
