One of the Rabbitohs' own, Col Fuller, has spent more than a week in hospital and undergone numerous surgeries after suffering a heart attack earlier in the month.
Fuller, the current vice president at the club, is due to return home in the coming days and Westside secretary Brooke Mallison said the Rabbitohs can't wait to have him back.
"We're a family club and we can't wait to have him back," she said.
"We've missed him at training on Tuesdays and Thursdays and he's a massive part of our club. We've all felt it.
He's a massive part of our club.

"He's a massive asset and we were all shocked when we heard he'd had a heart attack."
It was fitting that in the day leading up to the heart attack, Fuller had been helping out by working at the canteen and doing other odd jobs at the National Indigenous Rugby League Championship at Apex Oval.
Later that night he was in hospital at Orange before then being moved on again to Sydney.
"He's on the mend now," Mallison said.
"He's just got to rest up but hopefully he'll be home in the next few days."

After being integral in Westside's campaign to return to Group 11 competition, Fuller has filled various roles for the club since 2014.
He's been president in the past while also coach of the club's hugely successful league tag side.
Fuller is stepping away from the coaching this season as he has returned to a board role, assisting Mallison and the new-look committee to ensure the club's long-term success.
"We've got the motto of friendship, family, football and that's well and truly been proven in the past week with Col," Mallison said.
"We've all been messaging him and calling while he's been on his strict bed rest and touched base with him."
Fuller was out of hospital of Wednesday and took his chance to go and watch the South Sydney Rabbitohs train at Redfern.
