The Mariners were soundly beaten 5-1 in their season opener on the road and returning home for the first time in 2019 on Saturday, but their fortunes didn't change at Marjorie Jackson Field with FC banging in two goals either side of the break in the shut-out triumph.
Josh Sama opened the scoring with a neat header on the quarter-hour mark before bagging a brace just before the break on the back of some sublime play from Peter Crevani.
The Dully boys continued to dominate in the second period, too, their third goal coming off the right boot of Yoel Silvestre before Harry Browell completed the mauling on 90 minutes.
Western will again play at Lithgow this Saturday for round three of the 2019 NPL3 premiership, taking on Gladstone Ryde Magic from 4.30pm.
The Mariners are anchored to the bottom of the ladder after conceding nine goals in two games and booting home just the one.
Meanwhile the Mariners' women's side scratched out a 2-2 draw with UNSW FC in Lithgow.
Larissa Kilby and Anna Hunt found the back of the net for the Mariners, who lost their round one game.
