Dubbo College Delroy Campus has welcomed its new captains for the year, with Kady Lake and Bayleigh Wellington stepping up to the role.

Students, teachers, family and friends gathered at Dubbo College Delroy Campus Hall to celebrate the annual leaders induction.
Adarna Riley-Coleman began the induction with a performance of the Acknowledgement of Country, to the proud audience.

Delroy Campus principal Debbie Head then followed by addressing the students and their families.
Jesse Trindall and Johnathon Woods were further inducted as vice-captains and Katelyn Hall and Bayden Powell were announced as the 2019 sports captains for Delroy Campus.
Captains Kady and Bayleigh led students in reciting the leaders’ pledge.
Melanie Burgess and Johnathon Woods were also announced as captains for art.
AECG president Allan Hall presented junior AECG members with their badges, before parents were given the opportunity to pin them on students.
2019 AECG representatives include Adarna Riley-Coleman, Jess Trindall, Allison Smith-Romans, Charlotte McGrath Nolan, Tanisha Lovett, Malayah Hurst, Bailey Ross, Terrell Gordon, Kyle Daley and Mack Sampson-Barett.
Deputy principal Neil Thompson presented the sports captains with their badges.
The sports captains for each house include:
- Briganera House: Captains Nick Campbell and Stevie Carr and Vice Captains Josh Aubila and Lisa Bayliss.
- Macoolari House: Captains Sion Gordon and Kaitlyn Hall and Vice Captains Connor Etcell and Chloe Hillsley.
- Parayong House: Captains Bailey Ross and Anthonella Rojas and Vice Captains Lachlan O’Malley and Clare Powyer.
- Yarradaroo House: Captains and Bayleigh Wellington and Dakota Smithson and Vice Captains Morgan Smith and Jess Trindall.
Ms Head also presented SRC students from years seven to 10 with their badges.
"After the Delroy captains were introduced and badged by their parents, captains Kady and Bayleigh led students in reciting the leaders’ pledge.
"Following the induction refreshments were provided for students and families in the school library to further celebrate," Ms Head said.
