Wiradjuri Goannas coach Chicka Merritt is backing his side to go all the way after the Group 11 women decimated Bathurst's Panorama Platypi at Kennard Park.

Played in four, 15 minute quarters under a beating sun, the game pitted the Western Women's Rugby League competition's only two unbeaten sides against one another in a top-of-the-table showdown.
But after a tightly contested opening quarter - the locals led 10-6 at the first break - the Goannas ran away with the game.
Against a much bigger forward pack, the Goannas came out "eager to dominate in the forwards".
Lock forward Kaity Andrews and bookends Cassie Toomey and Maggie Townsend cut a swathe through the Platypi's middle, giving the likes of Britt Naden, Alanah Ryan, Majayda Darcy, Emily Caton and Taneka Todhunter room to run riot.

And they did.
The Goannas ran out 68-4 victors to take top spot on the competition ladder and, with a bye this weekend, secure their spot in the semi finals.
"I know the girls will be ready, come two weeks time, to put their best foot forward," Merritt said.
"We've trained so hard all through our preseason so hopefully they'll benefit with the rewards in a couple of weeks.
"There's still room for improvement, you've still got to get those little one percenters right, but I'm sure if we turn up for the full 60 minutes, we'll be in the final the week after."
Earlier on Saturday, the Goannas' 15s side claimed a gutsy 24-24 draw with the Panorama Platypi, while the Platypi forfeited the 18s fixture.
Merritt called up a handful of 18s into the open side, and was pleased to see "the momentum was still there" when they took the field.
The three sides train together, and it showed on Sunday.
"They slotted in well and played as a team, and that's why I think we won in the end," Merritt said.
"We played for each other and it showed."
The "most pleasing part" for Merritt, however, was "everyone knows their role in the team".
"They all work together, the communication is there in defence and attack," he said.
"The halves get us from point A to point B, we've got a good kicking game on us as well, our halves take control, our nine gets us on the front foot with some passes that are meeting their advantage line and our two wingers Michelle Blake and Emma Reed get us on the front foot on the kick return which is very pleasing."
