One, a seasoned representative with an Australian Country baggy green to his name.
The other, a teenager who has spent the 2018-19 season terrorising even the most senior batsmen - many more than twice his age.
Whoever can have the biggest impact is sure to claim the 2018-19 McDonalds Megahit title for his team - the Amaroo Hotel Tigers or Bob Berry Blasters - at from 6.30pm at Victoria Park No 1 Oval.
"For either side it would be Patto [Tiger Ben Patterson] and Tom Atlee.
Twenty20 can be won and lost on one guy's performance.
- Tigers wicket keeper Dan French.
"Just the ability to change the game quickly in a short period of time. With the bat he [Patterson] can whack sixes and with the ball he's got the ability to go through, take four wickets. [Tom] same thing.
"They've got the ability to take the game away from you with both bat and ball, and very quickly.
"Whoever does better out of those two is probably going to win the game for his team."
The Tigers look the likely favourites going into the final, having prevailed in the team's only other meeting this season.
That game saw the Bob Berry Blasters batting line-up collapse in spectacular fashion, bowled out for 33 in response out to 139.
The Blasters actually boast a better record across the season, winning four games compared to the Tigers' two.

But the Tigers have been successful at Twenty20 for a long time - Friday's will be their fifth grand final appearance - and are ready to combat the threat of one of the RSL-Whitney Cup's most devastating bowlers.
"We've just got naturally aggressive sort of blokes that do well in the Twenty20," French said.
"I think it's important we just don't lose wickets against Tom.

"We'll try and go as close to a run a ball against him and then up the ante against the other blokes … we can score against the other guys later on."
Tigers top order batsman Charlie Kempston will make his senior grand final debut, but he denies being nervous.
"I just like Twenty20 really," he said.
"It's fun, quick … really good to watch - better than two day cricket anyway!
"We've concentrated on the Whitney Cup, but winning this would be a good confidence boost for us … I'm excited."
