The Central West Rainbow Alliance has secured a place in Saturday's 2019 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade and wants others to "join us".

"Your very own rainbow community has been successful in our application to march in the 2019 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras," alliance spokesman Axeris Sondyre said.
"We have been placed 17 (b) in the parade proceedings and have available places for the Central West LGBTIQA+ community members and allies in the general public.
"This year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras theme is 'Fearless'.

It will be the sixth parade for the alliance which is advancing the equal rights and welfare of the LGBTQIA+ community and organising events that promote inclusion and celebrate diversity including the annual Central West Pride Festival in Dubbo.
