THE death of three sheep along a rural boundary fence has resulted in police calling for information from the public.

Officers attached to the Orana Mid-Western Police District will alledge that that a malicious damage case led to the death of the sheep.
"Between 9.30pm on Thursday, February 14 and 7am Friday, February 15 unknown person/s cut a two-metre section of wire fencing between the Canonba and Carinda roads, Warren," State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
"Sheep either strayed through the cut fence, or the person/s attempted to steal the sheep.
"Along the boundary fence two sheep were found deceased and one sheep was severely injured requiring to be euthanasied ."
