The reserve received $72,000 in funding, which allowed for the upgrade of the power supply, including additional power boxes.
Nationals candidate Dugald Saunders said the reserve was used by a number of equestrian clubs – including the Dubbo Horse and Pony Club, Riding for the Disabled, and the Dubbo Equestrian Showjumping Association – who were already benefiting from the upgrades.

“There is hope that the upgrade will attract bigger equestrian events, and ultimately allow for the use of the reserve to be diversified so other groups may want to use the reserve,” Mr Saunders said.
Minister for Lands and Forestry Paul Toole said the work was vital to help boost the local economy.
