Sit ‘n Knit
Held on the first Saturday of the month from 11 am to 1 pm, our first Sit ‘n Knit for 2019 is on tomorrow, Saturday 2 nd February. Suitable for both beginner or advanced, you can work on your own knitting or crocheting project, or share your skills with a learner. Some limited supplies available.

Storytime
Storytime is a fun program for children 0 to 5 years and their parents or carers. Free sessions are held each week during the school term and run for up to an hour. The first Tuesday session for 2019 will be on Tuesday 5 th February with the first Wednesday session on Wednesday the 6 th February. You can book in for the term for Tuesday sessions or Wednesday sessions, starting both days at 11 am. Phone 6801 4510 or call into the Dubbo Library to book in for one of the sessions.
Book Club
The Dubbo Book Club meets the first Tuesday of every month at 2pm, with the February meeting being held next Tuesday 5 th February. Everyone is welcome to come along and discuss any great books that they have enjoyed with the other members, enjoy some afternoon tea, and have the opportunity to borrow from a range of brand new titles.
Starting school
Starting school can be an exciting and scary time for both parent and child and it is normal to have mixed emotions about the transition. The library has a range of books that may help make the transition easier, including The best day of my whole, entire life! by Amanda Walsh and Jody Shearman, Old friends, new friends by Andrew Daddo, and Our family is starting school: a handbook for parents and carers by Bob Perry and Sue Dockett.
