Regional Development Australia will host this event which aims to shine a light on the need for a regional policy and plan to support growth centres within inland Australia.
Keynote speakers at the event will include Roger Fletcher of Fletcher International Exports, Liz Ritchie of the Regional Australia Institute and Jillian Kilby founding director and CEO of Infrastructure Collaborative.
- Dubbo Farmers Market
Saturday, February 2, beginning at 8am – Macquarie Lion's Park, Dubbo.
The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants.
Purchase fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and much more. Sample the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.
- Little Athletics NSW Region 3 Championships
Saturday, February 2 to Sunday, February 3, Barden Park, Dubbo.
More than 2000 visiting competitors, officials and supporters will converge on Dubbo for the Little Athletics NSW Region 3 Championships. The carnival is one of eight Region carnivals held in NSW.
- Buddhist New Year
Saturday, February 2 to Sunday, February 3, commencing 12pm – Wellington Buddhist Centre.
The Buddhist New Year event will be held over two days at the Wellington Buddhist Centre.
Activities will be held on the hour from 1pm to 4pm including Chair Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, Lantern Origami. Afternoon tea will be held. This is a free event.
