As the eyes of the sporting world turn to Melbourne for the first grand slam of 2019, Dubbo tennis fans are invited to try their hand at the sport at Paramount Tennis Club’s summer open day.

From 4pm on Sunday, January 20 the club will throw open its gates to everyone from A grade players to those who have never picked up a racket.
The courts will be available for free games, and people will also have the chance to learn more about the club’s activities including weekly competitions, and coaching for both juniors and adults.
Special offers on the day include:
- free tennis from 4pm
- free tennis balls for people to take home
- free barbecue, ice blocks and cold water
- $10 off annual memberships paid on the day
- a number of tennis giveaways and on court action led by our professional coaches
Players will also be able to sign up for the club’s summer competition, which commences at the end of January.
The club is coming off another successful year in which participation grew across A, B and C grades.
The club prides itself on offering high quality tennis and also more social play, catering for players of all abilities and interest levels.
