About 50 families in Dubbo will be able to give their children presents this Christmas from St Vincent de Paul and some other generous businesses.

The charity delivered presents to families in need this week, donated from local organisations such as Ray White Dubbo, Hillross Financial Services, St Pius Primary School and Ashcroft’s IGA.
More than 330 presents have been donated to the cause, each wrapped and labelled with the gender it’s for and the intended age.

St Vincent de Paul Dubbo president Dan Sulllivan said he was very grateful to all the businesses that had donated presents or money.
He said the gifts would be given to the families who needed an extra hand this year, alongside 330 food hampers the charity was distributing throughout Dubbo in the lead up to the festive season.
