Multiple events will culminate in Community Carols by Candlelight on Sunday night.
On Saturday, Dubbo Presbyterian Church will host a “fun carols night for all ages looking at what happened on the first Christmas”.
The free event from 7.30pm to 9pm will include supper and fireworks with participants needing to take a chair or rug to sit on.

On Sunday, Dubbo and District Concert Band will conduct a Christmas concert at Holy Trinity Church from 3pm to 4.30pm.
The band will play a variety of Christmas songs and carols.
The concert is free but gold coin donations will be accepted.
Community Carols by Candlelight, run by the Rotary Club of Dubbo West, will begin at Victoria Park No 1 Oval at 7.30pm on Sunday.
Participants are advised to bring their “chairs, rugs and vocal chords”.
