Donations of non-perishable food, including packaged and canned, will be distributed to charities in the western region.

“This will be a fantastic opportunity for members to return that overdue book, magazine, audiobook, CD, or DVD that is still sitting at home, even if it has been years,” said MRL manager Kathryn McAlister.
“The month-long amnesty will give borrowers the chance for a fresh start while making a difference in the community.”
Ms McAlister is also inviting donations from people who “simply like to give to a good cause”.
