Dating website Elite Singles has recently listed Dubbo as the 14th most expensive city in Australia to go on a date.
The average cost of a date in Dubbo is around the $123 mark.
This is a fair sight cheaper than the $160 you might fork out in Syndey or the $158 you might part with for a date in Melbourne and slightly below the $136 it costs to date in Toowoomba in Queensland.
Elite Singles calculated the cost of a ‘typical date night’ including a shared bottle of wine, dinner for two, two cinema tickets and a taxi ride home.

Elite Singles also priced dates around the world and the results might be surprising.
Oslo in Norway was the top place to go on a date with the average price being $241 AUD, London was the next with the average price being $228 AUD and New York daters have to fork out $204 AUD.
This says a lot about Netflix and Chill.
