Mr Saunders said the re-election of the Victorian Labor Party shows if people have faith the government is doing a good job, they’ll vote for them to be returned.
“I think the Andrews government has not been on the nose and people are generally happy with how they’ve been going,” he said.
“The fact they have been returned I see as a positive for the NSW government because they have been doing a great job and therefore is not on the nose either.
“So drawing any parallels, I’d say the Victorian election shows if you are doing the right thing as a government people are happy to maintain it in its position.”
Mr Saunders said governing is all about delivering.
The ability to keep delivering into the future is what people want

“I’ve lived in this electorate for 12 years, and no-one that I can find can name a time in history when investment in the Dubbo electorate has been better,” he said.
“The LNP are getting stuff done just like the Andrews government, so its all about delivering and it shows that if people have faith that the government is doing a good job, they’ll re-elect them.”
