School Principal Neal Reed said he commended students and staff for their response to the lockdown safety procedure.
“The safety procedure was initiated to ensure students’ safety when an incident emerged,” he said.
“The prompt response enabled staff to manage the incident effectively.”
“Our students and staff were safe at all times. I’d like to thank our students for their calm, measured and cooperative response; our staff for their professionalism and the NSW police for their fine response and attention.
“Lockdowns are one of a number of safety procedures rehearsed regularly by public schools.”
