Royal Flying Doctor Service pilot Ashley Myles’ daughters Lilly, 9, and Audrey, 5, met Prince Harry and Meghan and gave them pictures they had drawn.
Lilly said Meghan pointed to her drawing and asked, “is this my lovely husband?”.
“Meghan also said she liked that I drew her tiara from her wedding,” Lilly said.
“I didn’t expect to chat with them I just thought I’d be able to wave … I love the fact they took the time to talk to all the kids, they bent down and spoke to them all.”
Lilly said Meghan was “even more beautiful up close than on TV, she was really nice, friendly and easy to talk too.”
“I can imagine Meghan has taken the pictures home to put up in her bedroom.
Audrey said she was excited she spoke to the royal couple and shook their hands and couldn’t “believe i got to meet a princess.”
